We stayed here one night as a post-Christmas break from kids. Really beautiful location up the mountain and very secluded self-contained accommodation in a bush setting. Tony was very friendly and relaxing on arrival. Our cabin was beautiful. Quite large with kitchen/dining and cosy lounge area and a large bedroom on another level. Bathroom has a full bath and separate...

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay in this place. This is very remote from everything, yet a short drive from the motorway, which was a perfect to stop for a night during our long drive. it is also 5-10min drive from Nambucca Heads and Valla Beach, which are both a short visit if you stay here. I must say...

Had a fantastic birthday weekend getaway and couldn't have picked a better lodging. Owner was very friendly and accommodating (even drove us to the local winery) and the views are incredible, as well as the place being immaculate. Very relaxing and be back for sure :)

This was an absolutely beautiful location, one of the highlight spots of our holiday. The accommodation was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Our host, Tony was super friendly and gave us some great tips on places to visit. We can't wait to come back and more time at the fantastic Sacred Mountain Retreat.

We stayed here for a night en route north. It was gorgeously appointed, spacious and had a great view through to the coast. Owner was lovely, accommodating and welcoming. Kitchen was well-stocked. Was great for a way to break the trip that isn't falling into a depressing motel room, but would also work for a longer stay given the facilities....

Sacred Mountain Retreat……… To quote the title of Thomas Hardy's novel "Far from the Madding Crowd" Is a perfect elucidation of the haven. The only overt noise is the sounds of the exquisite neighbourhood feathered creatures. So beautiful & confident to greet you in the morning for what ever you would generously share with them. Yet one can still visit...

While the house had good views (reached via an almost vertical driveway) the overall cost and for what it was represented poor value for money. As an example we stayed at a superior room at the Langham hotel Melbourne for the same cost. The interior was clean and functional. Overall the building interior was clinical and was not comfortable -...

A few friends and I were keen to find a place with nice views to relax from our hectic work schedules. I booked Sacred Mountain Retreat not knowing much about it, and could not have been more impressed. On arrival we were greeted by the loveliest people you will ever meet, and guided to an amazing cottage. On the table...

We were pleasantly surprised as we drove up the mountain ridge to Sacred Mountain Retreat and then amazed when we actually stood on the verandah of our cottage at the breathtaking views. We could see up to the mountains of Dorrigo National Park, out to the ocean in front and then down to the headlands of Nambucca and South West...
