2 night stay in Carrigfergus. Stayed at The Keep. We were greeted warmly by Heather and made very welcome. Our room was very spacious with en suite shower room and tea/ coffee making facilities. We were unable to have the windows open due to noise but they were soundproof with the extra window installation. Breakfast was good but be prepared...

Hi, Thank you very much for your review. I can only apologize if you felt you had to wait too long for your freshly cooked breakfast on the first morning, we try to stagger breakfasts but on this occasion due to the fact we had some children in a dancing competition they also needed an early breakfast. I have checked...

Very friendly owners with plenty of advice about the area. Lovely spacious bedroom with four beds which was perfect for us - I don't think I could find any other b & b that offered four beds in the one room. A great idea of having a fridge in the bedroom and beds were comfy. The Ulster fry in the...

Hi Scone lover, We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We thought adding the fridge to the room would be greatly appreciated as it has been. We try our best to give our Guests the best we can without adding to the cost of their stay. I guess we just cant compete with the silence of the countryside...

Just back from staying at the Keep B&B and cannot fault it in anyway. From the moment we went in to the moment we left, the hosts were very helpful and made us feel very comfortable and at home. The whole B&B was very clean and our bedroom (family room) had lots of space to move around with plenty of...

Good value home comfort in a strong location for central Carrickfergus with the town easily accessible. The host was most welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area and gave us a good steer on where to eat locally. Friendly and welcoming, the room was not stark or modern but serviceable, comfortable and clean = good value. The breakfast here was...

Hi Caren, Thanks for taking the time to write us an informative review. We found this B&B disappointing. The room we had overlooked the backyard with hanging washing and dustbins so didn't match up with the photos on the website. It was an average room, definitely not boutique. The view was the same during breakfast. We were never invited to the front rooms. The staff were fairly friendly, however the cooked breakfast was...

Hi Keith, I am really sorry to hear that we didn't seem to meet your expectations on your resent visit and you felt the Castle was distant (google maps we are 1 min, 210 yds away from Castle) Believe it or not reason we called the Guesthouse The Keep wasn't totally to do with the Castle, the word Keep means...

Stayed at the Keep for two nights in May... clean and comfortable, nice bed and good breakfast. In a perfect location walking distance to restaurants and to the castle and town. Hosts are kind and helpful, and Paula catered to our every request at breakfast. All in all a great choice.
