Stayed in this early 14th century B&B on trip around Ireland. You could tell it was old with the low ceilings and wavy floor. Lots of character. Comfortable and good Irish breakfast. The best part was going to the bar on the lower floor and meeting the locals over a guiness. Just 15 min from the airport on the way...

Just back from an overnight stay at Dobbins. It has a great bar with lots of character, which serves meals. We go there regularly on a Saturday for lunch, so we knew the food was going to be great as always. We arrived on a cold miserable wet evening. We were greeted a in most friendly manner by the receptionist....

Myself and my new wife spent two nights at Dobbins and could not fault anything. We had a great stay and were treated extremely well. Overheard one table being critical over some of the dishs something about being outaged and 80s but as far as carvarys go ,usual starter choices ,four roasts and a good helping of desserts what more could you...

Love coming here for the food. Came for the sunday carvery and as usual didn't disappoint (was so stuffed couldn't manage the delicious deserts on offer). Good food, good prices & pleasant staff. What more can you ask for.

Visited recently for the Sunday Carvery. Giving this a one star is doing them a favour. If you love food from the 80s then this is for you, however their Sunday carvery is shockingly outdated. Prawn cocktail, egg mayonnaise, sausages, pate for starter among others. Then for main course its dry, overcooked meat (still cooking for an hour in the...

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting your opinion of our Traditional Sunday Carvery. We have a very popular following of people who enough the traditional food, atmosphere and personal service we provide. It certainly does not suit everyone, that is clear from your comments. I would disagree with your statement about the lack of flavour, taste and "packet" products as...
