Stayed here with my partner and our 2 young children. House stank of cigarette smoke and there was dust and dog hairs everywhere. We had the family room and I'm not even sure the bed sheets were fresh. Bathroom had a weird smell, mirrors were stinking and the shower/bath were mouldy. Mattress was very lumpy and we had a very...

Bad points - Strong smell of tobacco smoke throughout, very dated room and shower wasn't clean. Good points - friendly and obliging landlord, breakfast was fine and it wasn't expensive. Convenient location.

Lovely space for kids. We were not in the main house. We had the flat beside it. It was perfect for kids as you are off main road with a big garden. Good shops 30 secs walk. 10 min walk to town. Cost 240 for 3 nites. Felt safe and secure. Kids could run around. Would go back.

Stayed for 5 nights with 2 young children. Was brilliant and Alan was a great host. Breakfast was beautiful every morning. Rooms are a good size. Would recommend it to everyone. Very loving family feel to the place and only 10 minute walk to town. Will definitely be back 😊

Had we not pre-paid for this B & B, my husband and I would have walked out as soon as we got there. The entire place, including the upstairs bedrooms, reeked of cigarette smoke since the owner is a heavy smoker. The beds were old and lumpy.

We had a resevation for the weekend and when we arrived the "owner" opened the door grumpy and suprised to see us. He seemed to be hangover or still drunked, with red eyes and like he did not shower in a few days. He said, that the room is no longer available anymore, as our card was cancelled and that...
