Our girls booked this for us a weekend away in this lovely family run business in Portrush. The room was with a sea view it was clean tidy modern and warm at night. The food we can't complain as the breakfast was good and filling set you up for the day.

This booking was a bit of a last minute plan so wasn't sure what to expect. However from the moment we arrived it was a great experience. Two of us stayed in a room that would accommodate three (three single beds). There were no double beds available. We only stayed for one night, but I imagine this would hold true whether we stayed for one night or more... Pros: Very friendly owner and cook Good breakfast (a small buffet and cooked to order) Great location in Portrush... More

Avarest House is an excellent base to stay in portrush and is very handy to all the local bars and restaurants. The rooms are very well presented and the breakfast lovely. Sid & Dawn are very friendly and nothing is to much bother for them.

Avarest B&B was a quaint, quirky B&B that was in a great location for our needs. There are several restaurants and bars within a short walk; the harbor view was great. Rachel, our host, was very helpful. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Having the lift for the upper floors was great; I try to avoid stairs due to... More

Stayed 2 nights. Hospitality was very good. We only had breakfast one morning, as a vegetarian there wasn't much for me to eat so went to a local cafe on the second morning. Overall, very clean B and B , good value and great location.

Thanks for taking the time to review our b&b. Slightly confused about your comments about breakfast there are plenty of options for special diets if pre arranged with us as you didn't mention this to us unfortunately we couldn't assist. Just below is a very satisfied customer as she notified us of her lacto intolerance. Glad we could assist with... More

Really enjoyed staying here! The room was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, the view of the sea and harbour was lovely. Our breakfasts were amazing (including catering for my milk allergy and even making special soda bread just for me) and kept us going for our days out. We found it a bit difficult to park our hire...
