We stayed here for the night after visiting family in the area We were welcomed by a lovely open fire and friendly staff. We had the pleasure of staying in 'The Flat' really lovely accommodation above the bar/restaurant. We had pre-booked a table which I would imagine is advisable as it was really busy by 7.30pm. Food was great, service... More

Having had 2 very poor meals at the Dove (being relatively local to us), we decided to try one last time for a lunch time meal with the children. We were sitting between the gents and the kitchen (no complaint there although there were other same sized tables obviously available, dining with children we do understand being tucked away). We... We required some accommodation for our Twixmas break close to Longleat for our visit to view the Festival of Light and other attractions. The Dove Inn was an excellent choice for position with easy access to Longleat and surrounding villages. The picture does not do this place any justice in fact I think it lets it down. On arriving there... More

A lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff and fabulous food from an extensive menu with great wines to accompany. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. A great place to relax and enjoy with friends and family in the lovely village or Corton. Thank you and see you again soon!

Following a great day in bath, what a special little place The Dove is. The rooms in the little cottage next to the pub were very specious with everything you could wish for. We ate in the pub in the evening and the food, service, staff and host were all exceptional. You would go out of way to stay and... More

A wonderful stay close to both Longleat and Stonehenge. Great food and local ales. The room was lovely and airy. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. A real gem in middle England . A particular touch I favoured were the bar snacks. A really nice touch .

A very good place to go to have a lovely week-end in the countryside. The rooms are very comfortable (ask for the n° 9 or 11). The food is very good, the service is fine, the staff is very friendly. No more to say you just have to go.

My husband booked this delightful pub/ hotel for my Birthday weekend surprise. We stayed for two nights in The Flat which is a very impressive, high spec two bedroom self contained flat. We ate in the pub on both nights and the food was very good on each occasion. The staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive and made us... More

Stayed overnight to attend a nearby wedding. We did not have the opportunity to sample the food, but saw the quality and others said how good it was. The room was beautifully furnished with much thought given to the guests' comfort. Very comfortable bed, heating could be adjusted as required. Clean to the highest standard. Staff friendly and willing to... More

We all stayed for my Fathers 60th birthday. All of us had dogs and it fitted perfectly with what we needed.
