We stayed at Woolley Grange for 2 nights (Fri & Sat) to celebrate my birthday. It was our first trip away with our 9 week old baby. The staff at Woolley Grange couldn't have been more accommodating if they'd tried. Kind, helpful, cheery and efficient they were great. The hotel is stunning from the outside and full of interesting nooks...

Dear T6361HDamyw Thank you for your feedback following your recent stay. It is lovely to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us and how the 'little things' made the difference for you, staying way with your newborn for the first time. It is also really rewarding for the team to hear how much you enjoyed their care and...

Took my wife here to meet with family who were already there for a surprise afternoon tea, we were met at the door & shown into a room where everyone was waiting for my wife. The staff were very good, nothing was too much trouble for them & they were good with my two granddaughters. The afternoon tea was more...

We went for a family birthday lunch. The venue is lovely, the staff were excellent and the food superb. But by far the best is the way that children are made so welcome. So relaxing not having to worry about them. Just one mishap. I did wonder about the pond in front of the restaurant. It was frozen over. It...

We stayed here a few years ago and stayed in the Pallaret which was a beautiful suite overlooking the gardens. This time we stayed in the 'Boys' room, but it wasn't in the main house (which we didn't realise) and instead was in a separate building near the kitchens. It was a nice room, but very small and noisy. We...

A friend and I got an offer through travel zoo for a spa day including full body massage and cream tea for £60. Sound to good to be true? It was. On arrival at the spa there was no one in reception (as we had a booking you would think they would be expecting us). When someone did appear she...

I was looking forward to the spa day I had booked for myself and my friend. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The spa was absolutely filthy! Here are a few examples; 1. Our robes and towels both has stains on them (it looked liked blood on one of them) and we're dirty. 2. The family toilet had...

I had heard so much about Wooley Grange and have stayed in other luxury family hotels, so I was really looking forward to our stay. This is a lovely, friendly place. We stayed in the John Baskerville, which we thought was worth the extra - nice sitting room, large bathroom - watch your head on the beam, and the room is well situated. The creche staff are super and our toddler enjoyed his time there. The food was good - breakfasts are tremendous, kids dinners...
