We spent our 25th wedding anniversary week staying in the Penthouse Suite at Bagshaw Hall and couldn't have been happier with the quality of our accommodation, the friendliness of the staff and the area in general. We chose to opt out of breakfast as we were quite happy to fend for ourselves with the kitchenette in the room. This gave...

Although Bagshaw Hall is tricky to find, it is well worth the trouble. We stayed in the Devonshire apartment, which was very spacious, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. On arrival we were greeted by the owners son who very efficiently checked us in and helped to carry our luggage to our apartment. If you like great hospitality, a sense of...

Really nice hotel in the old beautiful house with the great view of the town. It's just 5 minutes form the center of Bakewell and bus stop. It was claen and comfortable, the room had evrything we needed during our staying, including microwave and fridge. So we were really comfortable there.

Really high quality, luxury accommodation. Our room was decorated to a very high standard and the bathroom in particular was very luxurious. The property is only 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Bakewell and sits on a hill with private parking. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful and we had several great cafes, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms...

We stayed in the sleeplodge which is situated behind the hall. Can't fault the room, very spacious. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. The en suite was also very spacious, came stocked with plenty of towels, toiletries, a large bath with shower etc. Cleanliness was absolutely faultless. The staff were all friendly and we were offered our breakfast...

A really beautiful property perfectly placed within the lovely quaint village of Bakewell. We were immediately welcomed warmly on our arrival and shown directly to a lovely room. Everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was especially luxurious, nice and big with really soft sheets and bedding. Our room although snug was equipped with everything you would need for a...

We booked a stay of two nights at Sleep Lodge at very short notice and it was fab. The view from the room was suburb, the rooms were nice and warm, the church bell gently chimed through the night, and Bakewell was a very short walk away. We could have happily stayed here for the full week. The kitchen facilities...
