Went for Sunday lunch with two young boys. It was busy but fitted us in. The roast was lovely and I loved the cheesecake. Everything was served with a smile. We will go back next time we're in the area.

We enjoyed a very good evening meal with friends recently and we stayed for a night. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The staff are efficient and helpful. Our bedroom was very well appointed and comfortable but a little dated and in need of refurbishment. However we would gladly visit again especially for a meal.

Just had a lovely weekend staying at the Ashford Arms. Lovely location, friendly staff, wonderful food and clean rooms, all at a reasonable price. I would describe the restaurant as cooking classic English food which was very tasty, reasonably priced and there was plenty of choice. The breakfasts, which are freshly cooked to order, we're superb.

Ate here today and everything was lovely. I had the mushroom starter and vegetable bake. Both were good. The vegetable bake was the best vegetarian sunday lunch main course I've had. Lovely fresh veg, tasty sauce and all served in a big homemade Yorkshire pudding. Staff were friendly and service good. Would recommend!
