A superb facility, very clean and with all you need to make pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, good facilities and kitchen. We had a great time here - even the cows come close to the cottage to say hello. We will definitely stay here again - its nice and quiet and tho the hayloft is next door there is no noise...

Being in a rural location, you only need hop over the back wall to find the nearest footpath. We think that it's great that even the cows are friendly!

Anniversary revisit to cottage/ barn conversion we have stayed in before. Wonderful solitude (except for cows first things, which was great, peering over the fence at us) and peace. Just what we needed.

We rented both cottages in the first week of the Easter break. We were two families and had 3 dogs between us. Every morning we went on a nice long walk with the 3 dogs that actually started right on the doorstep and the 2 boys aged 10 in the group were able to play in the fields behind us...

Thank you for the kind words. It is the first time a supermarket delivery has failed to deliver to the cottages at the appointed time. It was very frustrating as we could see the driver heading up and down the lane! Having two cottages adjacent to each other works very well for two families who like to holiday together whilst...

The cottage is ideally located for walking and the location and views are are wonderful, The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and you don't to take anything with you to enjoy a relaxing break. We shall be booking again in the...

We stayed for a short break in Byre cottage and were very pleased with the accommodation. Very clean, well-equipped and warm. The bedrooms were comfy (one double and one twin) and big enough for four adults, or a family. It's also extremely dog-friendly so we could relax straight away. There was a long walk directly from the property, so easy...

Hayloft Cottage was the first property we came across when looking for self catering cottages in the Peaks, we looked elsewhere to compare prices, and returned to Hayloft! It was the perfect location for great walking in the Peak District. The cottage is lovely, so comfy and warm, clean and well equipped! Waking up to snow was a bonus! Hoping...

Absolutely stunning cottage, immaculate presentation, with the most stunning views over the Derbyshire countryside. The cottage has everything you could possibly want, a lovely wood burner for that cosy evening in front of the fire, lashings of hot water under a superb shower, even a dish washer!!! Great pubs and cafes too, and to top it all very friendly and...

We needed a February break as a family. Risky going to the Peaks but Byre cottage well up for the weather. The underfloor heating plus a small log burner had us glowing in the evenings. The remote position gave the peace we needed. All of us revelled in the time (Springer Spaniel included). We'd stay again - maybe in warmer...
