We had a lovely stay at this B&B! The breakfast was great and the tip for the Sunday roast was very much appreciated. It was simply an amazingly welcoming vibe and we really felt at home. Oh, I even forgot the nice cups of tea and cakes that were waiting for us when we came back to the house in...

A lovely cosy home, clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast. Jill was really welcoming and obliging. She even did some washing for me which was really appreciated as I was on a four day walking break, carrying my world on my back!

Welcomed on arrival to a lovely house in a perfect setting just up the hill from Bakewell centre. We were shown to our good size room with picturesque views across the fields out the back. Lovely homely touches such as leaving fresh water in our room and bringing coffee to our bed in the morning, fantastic host. Breakfast offered a...

Only an overnight stay but Jilly (and Loulou!) made us so welcome. Clean and comfortable accommodation with nice views to rear. Great Derbyshire breakfast to start the day. House only a short walk into Bakewell so very convenient. The excellent hospitality made it a most enjoyable short visit.

Lovely location next to the Monsal trail and with wonderful views over Bakewell and the surrounding landscape. Jilly was most welcoming with tea and cake and quickly made this feel like a home from home. I stayed in a single room which was very nicely set up. The shared bathroom is a good standard for a 1920s house. The location is...

3 of us stayed over to visit The Wee Dram Fest in October 2012. Jill could not have been more accomodating and her effortless hospitality made our weekend extra special. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Jill helped hide the birthday cake we brought with us and served when we got in after the Fest. We were offered a cup of...
