Situated 4 minute walk from town centre. Parking at rear, and sidestreet. Motorcyclists made very welcome. Rooms modern and clean. Bit noisy on the front overlooking the main road (but nice views of the park opposite), however the triple glazing reduced it considerably.. Lovely breakfast in light and airy dining area. Jeremy and his wife are very helpful and friendly....

We have just had a lovely weekend at the Haven B&B Jeremy and Barbara made us very welcome. The rooms are lovely, very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect just a short walk along the river to Bakewell. We would highly recommend the Haven for a short break .

I visited Bakewell on 13th August 2016, looking for some rest and relaxation. From the moment Jeremy welcomed me, The Haven was perfect. My en-suite room was spacious, light, airy and peaceful, just the job after feeling under the weather for a few days. There is a comfortable residents' lounge and good WiFi signal. The location is great, cross the...

This B&B is situated on an extreme busy road (A6) and the double/triple glazing doesn't exclude all the noise of the traffic. The shower in the room was excellent but the towels were thin and need replacing. The choice of freeview channels on the TV is poor. On arrival you are "allocated" a time for breakfast which I have never...

Thank you for taking time to review The Haven. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity it gives us to improve our service and answer your comments. You state we are situated on the A6 and that is true. Bakewell is the only town in the Peak District National Park and is a thriving busy Tourist/Market town. Most of its...

We stayed for two nights in a large room, our base for walking the Monsal Trail. As mentioned before there is a busy road out front but we didn't hear any noise even though our room was situated at the front. Friendly and helpful owners and wow, the breakfasts were excellent! We tried oatcakes for the first time and they...

Finding anywhere to stay in the Peak District for three nights in late June at short notice is a challenge - but we hit the jackpot at the Haven. A good sized room, a king sized bed, a huge shower and a hearty breakfast all contribute to make this an excellent B & B. Jeremy and Barbara are perfect hosts...

The beautifil house is located within a few minutes walk from the city centre of Bakewell. Our bedroom was beautiful, clean and quiet, as well as well equiped. Very warm welcome by the owners of the B&B. Very nice homemade breakfast.
