I'm not sure what the Monsal Head has to do to win, other reviews saying "normal walkers don't want posh food, they want cheaper filling food" then being outraged that it doesn't sell an obscure selection of real ales but has loads of normal beers!...More
We visited the bar / stable for a quick fuel stop whilst walking the Monsal trail.
Great bar with lovely features. Huge wood burning stove in the middle of the bar made it very welcoming.
