Having recently stayed at Robertswood with a group of 16 friends - for our fifth visit - I can only say, that the people who gave such negative feedback must have the wrong property! Twelve of us stayed from 10 to 13 April 2015. Having read a couple of poor reviews I rang the owner who explained that one was from the fussiest woman he'd ever met and the other from a party of punters from hell! We had a fantastic time. Stayed 3 nights last weekend for an annual badminton get together and were delighted to find a place with all ensuite bedrooms and no bunks and at a reasonable price! Everyone had a great time and I had no problem cooking for 18 at all in the range cooker which had 2 large ovens. Even an extra oven to warm...

Booked this place as it had many bedrooms that's the only good thing about this house Before arriving I had read at least three negative reviews about the cleanliness of the house especially the kitchen I rang the owners as I was concerned they assured me this was incorrect warning filthy kitchen carpet greasy pans utensils vile took us all...

We booked this at the beginning of the year and was looking forward to the stay but was totally disgusted with the owners, on arrival the first problems we countered was the ovens in the kitchen after using them exactly how stated that the warmer oven wasn't allowed 50 and the power to them cut off after about 20/30 mins...

Booked this accommodation mainly because of the reviews on TripAdvisor, all seemed good.Not happy with paying the large bond because of previous experiences, many owners regard the bond has part of rental, i should have known these owners were no different. Picked from the Tinternet and not disappointed Stayed middle of September and enjoyed our first visit to the area. Very impressed with the Robertswood it was ideal for our requirements and will return when we visit the area again

Really enjoyable weekend, lovely breakfast we stayed 2 nights. Very relaxed & welcoming - would definitely recommend & would like to return. David & Marylyn were very attentive & helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
