A great find in a very small village in East Devon. Friendly welcome, warm atmosphere and beautiful features. Plenty of interesting choices on the menu and the food was served hot and tasty. Generous portions and timings were great, allowing time to digest each course without feeling rushed.

Our visit was suggested by our hosts in Axminster, it took a little finding but the food was well worth it. Sunday lunch or dinner is a feast, but beware you will not be able to manage three courses. It was so good we booked for the next night too. Needless to say we found it again but not by...

Went here for a meal with my wife and was not disappointed. The food was amazing as was the service. Beautiful little pub in the middle of know where. Quiet, relaxing and warm with a lovely traditional layout. Would definitely recommend, but beware as the portions are huge!! Well worth the money.

Stayed at a local B&B and this was the nearest place for food. It was great. Generous portions, tasty food and swift service. Doesn't open till 6.30 so don't get there too early (as we did!) and make sure you book as very busy.

I found the Tuckers Arms to be lovely hold village pub which would if benefitted more if hadn't been left in hands of a lot of young staff seemed too many hanging around where s couple of older more experienced people would of made a lot of difference and a lot of choices on menu were very dated and cuts...

Great food, but too much of it. They could reduce portions by 30pc and still have super-full and super-happy customers. Most food looked locally sourced. I had cauliflower and cheddar soup which was lovely, and ham and eggs. The ham was produced very locally and was superb....but again there was too much of it. The price was a reasonable £20...

A pleasant dog friendly restaurant/inn in a country village. Our table wasn't in the best position as we had a large dog with us, but fortunately he is well behaved and made himself as small as possible so as not to obstruct the aisle. Food was quite good but not something that we would rave about and we had good...

No question about the title! Amazing roast dinner and gigantic portions! The deserts are tasty as well. However the roast is only available on Sunday so Sunday is the best day to go there. They also do Sausages, egg and chips, burgers and many other tasty kinds of food for everyone to enjoy. 5 stars for me 100%

A lovely old pub in the heart of Dalwood. The food was exceptional and plenty of it. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Two of us had steak which the knife cut through as though it was butter. The Steak and Ale Pie was cooked to perfection and the Pork Belly and Ribs were excellent. I can honestly say I have...
