What a wonderful welcome from the hosts, Ben and Elizabeth and it only got better. We had great rooms in this old historical building with so much old world charm. We enjoyed it so much we did not want to leave. The whole experience was rounded off with a great breakfast.

Unfortunately we could only stay one night in this lovely old historic homestead dating back to 1892, which is most efficiently and professionally run by a very friendly and elegant couple, Dr Ben and Ms Elizabeth Stroebel. The room is well equipped with the finest, crisp linen and the breakfast is fresh and sumptuous. We got some lovely tips and...

Ben and Elizabeth are perfect hosts who could not have been more friendly. We were immediately upgraded to the large spacious coach house and booked into a local restaurant for a stunning dinner. Breakfast was perfect too.

What a pleasure to have found this place along the route from Colesburg to Cape Town. Upon arriving we were welcome and taken on a mini tour of the charming house. We were granted the freedom to move around, in and out or just relax in the public rooms with ease. Our rooms were private with en- suite. The breakfast...

In the heart of Ladismith just off the main road, a charming old Karoo house with interesting history and friendly, helpful hosts/staff. We stayed in the well appointed 2 bedroomed coach house which was spacious, comfortable and clean. Great value for money. A good place to stay at if your passing through.

Most travelers, I assume, would use Ladismith as a one-night stop over. You might just be so grateful for a place to sleep, that you don't really pay attention to your surroundings. Ending up at Albert Manor, we regretted not staying at least another night. The Coach House is spacious and impeccably clean with a touch of detail carried over...

A great welcome from Benny and Elizabeth to this national monument in the Little Karoo. We stayed in the coach house which is very comfortable with its own kitchen. Breakfast is served on the veranda looking out at the Swartberg Mountains and is a sumptuous affair. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to ensure you...
