2 night stay in a 1 bedroom suite. Reasonably spacious room but with a small wardrobe made storage of 4 suitcases difficult. Living area was ok. Bathroom was pretty old and needs a refresh. Kitchen was quite large but tap was broken and no dishwasher and like the bathroom could use a refresh. Bedroom was set up with a queen... More

It is a good clean hotel. It is slightly deserted & if you are walking then the access is bad. Bathroom is very dated. Room is fine. Nothing extra ordinary. Staff is very helpful. Not too close to anything

Had a business trip and stayed at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not too far from centre of Sydney. 2 bedroom apartment was clean and fresh, with kitchen facilities. Good for family with a couple of kids.

Stayed for a few nights with work. Location good for North Sydney but doesn't really have a good pedestrian access - hotel is set back and has a steep walk up road and have to jostle with cars. Room ok, but had the shower in the bath - a bit dated. Hotel was a. It dated overall, and given the... More

It's pretty much what you would expect for the hotel class and price. Nice walking distance to North Sydney shops and the I found the service to be friendly. Rooms are dated but clean. Lunch menu was limited but very tasty

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid October 2016. Have stayed here before. Only stay here because the Harbour View Hotel is fully booked. First impression is the rattly, wobbling automatic sliding doors. Not a great first impression and they need to fix these (pronto). If the doors are in that condition - what will my room be like? Reception... More

firstly you can't complain at paying $80+ less per night than you would if you stayed over the bridge at a Shangri-La/Intercon etc. So value for money and location would give Rydges a 4+ star rating. Also the beds are good. so if you want a decent rate, 5 minute walk to North Sydney and only want your room for... More

I stayed here for 2 nights for a recent wedding. I was in a twin share room that was smallish. Breakfast was good. $28.00 per person. Bar area was pleasant. Expensive hotel for what it is. Parking was not included in the price.

I have stayed at the Rydges North Sydney several times with the grandchildren. The stays have been comfortable and enjoyable. We have made use of the Luna Park deals, which are always fun. The included breakfasts are fresh and delicious. We will return again, I am sure!

Got a room on the 8th floor for three nights for business. The entire hotel is tired, the room smells stale, the TV didn't work properly (no sound for 20 minutes at a time), the window doesn't stay open.
