We've just returned from a truly wonderful weekend away at this gorgeous B&B. Set in the beautiful rolling Welsh valleys, the backdrop is stunning and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed here because I'd booked my husband a sniper experience nearby (which was fantastic by all accounts) and having read the trip advisor reviews of this B&B,...

Thank you for your kind review, we are very pleased that you enjoyed your visit and appreciated the facilities that we offer to our guests. We try to accommodate any special requirements when we are able to. Because we are a relatively small establishment, we do not have to follow the strict regime laid down by some hotels. This also...

Set in beautiful surroundings with wonderful views. Clean, modern and spacious and our hosts were very friendly and informative. The accommodation was excellent with many extras including a jacuzzi, dressing gowns, hairdryer, variety of toilletries ,even toothpaste. We would love to have stayed longer. All five of us were very impressed with both extra large rooms.

What a lovely B&B! The location is lovely. The welcome, our large room, the comfortable beds, flowers and choice of teas and coffees in the room - everything was excellent. THe attention to detail by our hosts was special. Our breakfast was also excellent and we enjoyed watching the birds having their breakfast outside while we were enjoying ours inside!

This B&B is in a modern house. My room was light-filled and immaculate, with attractive decor. The tiled bath, which was adjacent to the room, was positively luxurious--large, with a Jacuzzi tub and plenty of soaps and bath accoutrements. The breakfast room, part of the kitchen, is sunny, with a view of the countryside. Great value for the cost. The one...

Thank you for your review and kind comments. We are glad that you appreciated our facilities and location. We take on board your comments about our "family". A full carpet shampoo is top of our to do list. We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip to Wales.

we stayed at the h&m as we were visiting family in the area. Hosts were very welcoming and showed us round. Our room was a family room with private bathroom. Rooms had everything you could need and very clean and tidy. Breakfast choice was good and just what you need to start the day. Defiantly recommend

We stayed here on a Bank Holiday weekend and were absolutely delighted with the place. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed, including hair-dryer, toiletries, razors and tooth brushes - we really didn't have to take anything with us. They had thought of everything. The hosts were great and even run us to the local pub for our...

I greatly enjoyed my weekend in Maesglas Uchaf. One would be hard put to find a more peaceful location set in such a beautiful landscape. Ideal for walking, enjoying the scenery and watching the red kites wheeling overhead and a just short drive from the splendid Vale of Rheidol Railway.
