The road to this B & B is the worst you can imagine. Room # 3 is just as bad. View of the shed and the stables. Little inspiration. You have to walk hard to get wet in the shower :-(. Breakfast is neatly taken care of, but you have to say what you want. Blue cheese and Camenbert .......

Just one night, but a wonderful one ! So calm and a tremendous look to dunvegan castle. The room fine with all you need, the bathroom was very good and with daylight. The breakfast rich and very fine. The hosts were very friendly and we had a lot of nice talking. Mrs. McDonald told us, that our ferry would not...

My wife Danielle happened upon the Uiginish Farmhouse through active googling, and it has been a beautiful launching point for our Skye trip. We spent 3 days here, taking in the Isle and the Farmhouse was perfectly situated with a beautiful view of Dunvegan Castle from our room. Note: the road to get here is as fun as being here...

We stayed in this comfortable B&B for two nights during our trip through Scotland. It is part of a sheep farm that is embedded in a beautiful and calm landscape and thus you have to take a small and narrow road for about two kilometres to get there. Although there was a misunderstanding between our travel agency and the B&B...

To maximize our two days on Skye, we chose to stay at the northwest end one night and then south for the second night. So happy that Uiginish Farmhouse had a room available! We arrived to a warm, efficient greeting from Heather's daughter, then went to dinner and drove to the Neist Point Lighthouse for sunset. Lovely! Views from our...

This B&B is on the other side of the loch, opposite Dunvegan village. The setting is really quiet and relaxing, and there are walks around which is lovely. The interior is a bit dated, but everything was very clean so we did not mind. Breakfast was really good and there were plenty of options. The owner is very helpful, and...

We just returned from a two-week exploration of Scotland and might never had stayed at this delightful B&B if other places had been full--and would have missed one of our nicest experiences. Aside from the clean and comfortable lodgings and lovely view of Loch Dunvegan, we found a down-to-earth and warm family--Robert, wife Heather and daughter Rachel. Recognizing our interest...

If you like being off the beaten track and not in towns, this is the place! With a view from the bedroom over the loch and Dunvegan castle, the room was spotlessly clean, with good ensuite and plenty of space. When we arrived the family was busy preparing for the village fete the following day and the smell of home-made...

If you're looking for local friendly people on a working farm, look no further. We really enjoy our stay with Robert & Heather and have been back many times. Good Scottish breakfasts and plenty local info. Once woken up around midnight by the haunting sound of a piper walking around the castle walls, very surreal. If you're looking for Scotland,...

“From what we could tell, they are all good. We probably had the smallest room, the twin-room, as there was only one room left when we called. But it was spacious enough for us, clean and bright, with gorgeous view.”
