This is the second time that my husband and I have visited Carrig Country House and it was just as perfect this time around. We wanted to visit again because of how relaxing and tranquil we found it last time and it certainly didn't disappoint! The staff are amazing, so accommodating and friendly. Frank and Mary were delightful as always...

Lovely country house, well hidden, at the shore of the lake, with a beautiful garden. We had a very nice room with a view across the lake and into the mountains. No cars, no noise, not many tourists (the hotel guests), actually "no nothing", so exactly what we were looking for. Dinner and breakfast were served with a view across...

We spent our wedding weekend at Carrig Country House and we were made feel so welcome. Frank, Mary, Siobhan and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was beautiful, our room was so cosy with views of the lake, with shower and a bath ensuite. I would highly recommend this country house and we will be back...

It takes a while to get there but so rewarding when you do. From the moment you turn in the gate its obvious that this place is owned and managed by people who really care. We had considered a bigger more well known hotel but friends recommended Carrick House. I am delighted that they did. The personal but not intrusive...

We loved everything about Carrig House. Frank, the owner is very friendly and helpful. A cup of tea plus cakes ( or a glass of wine) was served on the terrace when we arrived! The view of Caragh Lake is stunning! You can see Carrantouhill in the back ground! It is the most beautiful place! The room was big and...

We arrived here after a long journey in sunshine but slightly cool to a very warm welcome by Siobhan. We were immediately offered afternoon tea by a roaring fire surrounded by very comfy sofas. A glorious sunny room with beautiful view overlooking the lake. After tea we were shown our room which again was glorious. Spacious, light, and overlooking the lake....

Very personal and friendly welcome. Location overlooking Caragh Lake extremely beautiful. Unfortunatelly restaurant was not open. But breakfast was very good. Quiet setting in landscaped gardens. Lots of good hiking trails in the area.

Set overlooking Caragh Lake, Carrig Country House is the perfect hideaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly, and the food is sublime. It is located on the Ring Of Kerry, an ideal vantage point for discovering the beauty if the Kerry coastline and mountains. We'll be back!
