When we arrived, we felt immediately at home. Modern, large and clean bedroom/bathroom. A long list of breakfast choices. Fair price. The lady of the house dealing with all your concerns and problems. Travel tip : the ring of Beara. Spectacular landscape - narrow roads - beautiful beaches...

After a long day driving the Ring of Kerry, we arrived at The Brambles, very tired and somewhat bummed by the sudden onset of pouring rain. Ann met us at the door and our spirits were immediately lifted by the dazzling warmth of her personality. While we ate a scrumptious breakfast in the beautiful surroundings of Ken and Ann's very...

Brambles B&B is just a short distance from town centre. The rooms are huge and very modern designed and highly comfortable. The bathroom is really spacious. Everything is absolutly thought through and organised. There is free Wi-Fi and a amazing choice of breakfast which is served in the wintergarden of the couple. We arrived quiet late and were still treated...

This was an interesting one. Of all the places we stayed in Ireland (six different B&B's) The Brambles was the one we were looking forward to the most. Upon arriving, we felt as though we were mislead by other reviews of The Brambles stating it was a short "10 minute" walk to town. Definitely NOT the case. I clocked it...

The rooms were clean and large. The view at breakfast was breathtaking. We had a wonderful stay and our hosts, Anne & Ken were lovely people. Located just outside of the main part of Kenmare, it is an ideal location if traveling by car.

The Brambles is a lovely modern, homely, super-friendly B&B that we wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend. Its about 15mins walk from Kenmare so its lovely and peaceful but near enough to enjoy the hub-bub of Kenmare too. Ann and Ken are such a genuine couple, they are well up for the craic and will leave no stone unturned...

We had a very pleasant stay in this B&B. It is in a quiet location with wonderful views. The standard of the room and ensuite was excellent as was the breakfast and the warm welcome that we received from our hosts. Highly recommended!

The Brambles is on the outskirts of Kenmare and is easy to find. It is ideally situated to visit the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. The B and B is new, spotless and more than comfortable but the hosts were the highlight of our stay. Incredibly helpful with recommendations and most hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful. We recommend...

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Brambles, could not fault the lovely clean and spacious room, modern, no clutter, and great ensuite facilities. Our only little niggle is the breakfast start time which was a non negotiable 8am. Ann arranged to leave out a self help continential breakfast as we required an early start in the morning. This was...

“Top floor has better views, but the ground floor room is lovely even though it looks out to the front driveway/gates...country setting.”
