We very much enjoyed our stay at Hallisey's and in Kenmare, lovely little town. Really handy for touring the Ring of Beara (beautiful) and the Ring of Kerry. Fantastic breakfasts cooked to order by Francis. Would recommend as a good value B and B.

Very,very friendly,helpful and lovely lady, cosy room, everything we needed was there, great breakfast,situated right in the city center,all shops,pubs and restaurants just there,a few footsteps away.Thank you very much!!

Francis was so lovely. She set my husband and I up with a lovely room overlooking Henry St. We stayed for the night before driving the ring of kerry. Francis recommended a great place for dinner and in the morning made us a great breakfast and wonderful coffee. Bathroom was a bit small, but it is an old home. Highly...

On mt first trip to Ireland we suffered a flat tire a short distance from Kenmare. We parked not the street and were fortunate enough to obtain a room. Francis was kind enough to show us the room before we committed, the town was prepping for a market day the following day so a lot of the shops were closed....

My wife & I stayed in Hallissey's while on vacation in Ireland last week. Francis was the perfect host,Kenmare what a town I was blown away by its beauty. Hallissey's is located right in the centre of the town, it was just perfect, as I wanted to sample the Guinness I had heard so much about and you cant drink...

My partner and I were in Ireland for the weekend of 29th-31st August. We drove the ring of Kerry and needed somewhere to stay on the Saturday night in Kenmare. We paid 66 euros which I thought was very reasonable seeing as some other places were trying to charge 90 euros for just board and one hotel tried to charge...

Upon arriving at the hotel I inquired of the owner Mrs hallisey if she accepted credit cards she stated she did not at this point I advised her this would be a promblem since I would have to withdraw money from an ATM and pay an additional charge to my bank and for security purposes I preferred paying by credit...
