I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Castlewood House. From Brian's greeting when we arrived to hugs and advice on where to go in Dublin from Helen on our departure, everything was perfect. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

I wasn't sure what to expect considering all the excellent reviews but I must say that we were not disappointed. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and capable. And all the other little extras were fully appreciated. We will definitely be back.

This guesthouse is, by far, our favourite place to stay at home here in Ireland. It was our fourth visit, our first with our 2 and 1/2 year old daughter. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, who were helpful and kind for the entire weekend without being over bearing. The rooms are beautifully laid...

I was traveling with a group of lovely people, but I decided one morning to take a break from sight-seeing and have a day to myself. I told my waitress. SHE told the concierge that the woman out there (me) didn't like any of her tour-mates, and the concierge took it upon himself to tell that to our tour leader!...

Thank you for your comments, which may we say we were very disappointed to read. At Castlewood House we look after people and that is what we do on a daily basis and have been doing for 11 years, and this is what drives us and gives us great pleasure in our work, meeting people and looking after them. Brian and Helen know how to make guests feel welcome. Innovative food at breakfast (along with the Irish standards) and comfortable rooms within easy walking distance of the center of Dingle mean that we will be back next year.

We could not have had a more lovely experience at the Castlewood House. After a harrowing drive from Galway, we were warmly greeted by Brian, who showed us to our superb accommodations. Attention is paid to every detail in this boutique hotel, from the artwork throughout, the eclectic mix of antique and vintage furnishings, purified water in the rooms, afternoon...

We stayed in Castlewood House for 5 nights and it was an excellent choice for visiting Dingle and the Slea Head drive. Owners Brian and Helen are very welcoming and have lots of recommendations for dinner in the town, and places to see around the peninsula. The B&B is quite new and is well kept. The 12 rooms are quiet...

I can't rave enough about the Castlewood House It was the highlight of our trip. From the welcoming mimosa's, the tea and scones in the living room after a busy day and the port wine waiting for us at night we were treated like royalty. Brian and Helen were most helpful in arranging dinner reservations and mapping out important places...

We stayed at a number of highly-rated hotels on our recent trip to Ireland, but the Castlewood House in Dingle stood out as the very best. The rooms are great, the proprietors welcoming, and the breakfasts fantastic. It is well worth its reasonable price. Its location is convenient to the restaurants and pubs of Dingle, a most interesting little town....
