If you're visiting Ireland and thinking of touring the Ring of Kerry, try this instead. Tour the Dingle peninsula and stay at Castlewood House in Dingle town. This is a very high quality guest-house, with large, beautiful rooms. The Dingle Peninsula itself is beautiful and well worth a visit. Castlewood is situated at the edge of town with a nice...

Castlewood House is simply the nicest place we stayed in Ireland. Helen and Brian are as welcoming and helpful as everyone says. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The breakfasts are superb with lots of choices; so many choices, in fact, that we couldn't try them all during our five-night stay. This was a real home away from home for us...

Stayed here for one night. Breakfast was fantastic, best choice I've seen in any Bed and Breakfast. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Brian was a very welcoming but inobtrusive host. Do think it is expensive and there are more conveneint B&B's closer to the town (granted it is only 10 minute walk to town from Castle wood).

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The room was immaculate. It looked brand new. The service was friendly and helpful. We chose to stay here based on the reviews which turned out to be right on. It is a bit pricey, but it was worth the cost. The breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Amen to all the accolades. My husband and I spent a delightful four nights at this lovely inn. Our room had gorgeous views of Dingle Bay and somehow it didn't matter at all that you have to look across the parking lot and road in front -- the beautiful bay draws you right in. The room was stylish, comfortable and...

If you read these reviews you will have a hard time believing it could be this good. The truth is that it's quite a bit better than the Trip Advisor rating system allows. Beautifully appointed, first class, large rooms, the best in Ireland, one of the best accommodations we've ever experienced, and I travel over 100 nts per year. The...

We fell in love with Dingle the minute we arrived, but when we saw the Castlewood House we were even more in love! It is a gorgeous setting and a meticulously cared for house. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, clean and modern. Helen and Brian were the most gracious, friendly hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They...

Well, it was the best B&B where we stayed on our recent trip to Ireland. Dingle is a gorgeous part of Ireland and the Castlewood House is just the best. The owners treat you like family and help point out the best things to do in the area. We enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and the extra-comfy accomodations. The breakfast is...

We stayed here in 2009 and I titled that review with, "WOW." I'm happy to do it all over again! Excellent service, excellent breakfast, excellent rooms. It totally lived up to the hype then, and lives up to the hype now. You will love it here. We stayed here for two nights this past week and just had the best...
