Mai's place was clean and friendly, what more could you want. Was very close to town and what a nice family! The breakfast (which was included) was up to par with all the other breakfasts in Ireland and had a very nice view.

Stayed 2 nights with Mai recently. She has 3 very clean, modern and fresh bedrooms with comfortable beds, good shower facilities with plenty of immediate hot water and her breakfasts will match any 4 star hotel and greatly appreciated so booking ahead is advisable. Off road parking is available and you will get a friendly welcome, and a full Ulster...

I overnighted recently at this nice B&B. It was a lovely surprise. The landlady made me feel like I was in my own house, even giving me advice where to get a good dinner. The homemade breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere you can breath there is certainly not common. Thanks s lot Mai for sharing part of your house....

We really enjoyed our four days with Mai Kelly. Our room was pleasant and comfortable, the bathroom fine, and the breakfasts first rate. (I enjoyed the traditional Irish breakfast; my wife enjoyed the porridge and fruit.) Mai owns a local beauty parlor as well, so of course knows all the goings on in this friendly and engaging little town.

Mai was a pleasant hostess. Breakfast is included and she discussed time with us the night before. The room was clean. Bed mattress was a little saggy and needs to be replaced. There was not a main area to sit in, but the room was a little bigger than most B&B's. Coffee and tea were provided in the room.

was as good as it gets for a bed and breakfast but the wee wummin that runs it is what makes it extra special. nothings too much trouble for her. quite simply if you are in the general area and dont stay here you are doing yourself a disservice. cant recommend highly enough

Ballyshannon is a lovely little place, and so is Mai Kelly's B&B. The room was beautifully decorated, breakfast delicious and plentiful, and Mai very friendly and helpful. We were on a cycling tour and secure storage was also provided.
