Stayed in hotel for 2 nights, the Saturday night dancing was great, food was ok there wasent much of a variety for breakfast, are room was an extra 10.euro per night, was told by receptionist on phone that it was Worth it,I beg to differ, view was looking onto a roof
This wasn’t a leisure stay so suited us fine . It was our first stay . The hotel is clean & spacious . The rooms are a mish mash of decor . It seemed like the most in need areas were redone & not badly at all ……but the cheap looking 1980s ceiling panels stayed. We requested a bright room when booking . We got a dark room with very little daylight looking into a roof : check out the pic ! Reception didn’t mention this when checking in . Breakfast was okay but the only coffee on offer was filter coffee . It was weak & horrible . I was refused an Americano which I would happily have paid for . I was sure this was only a 3 star hotel until I rechecked after our visit
We had the most amazing time at the Allingham Arms Hotel! We booked the the deluxe double seaview room and it has the most beautiful views of the water/beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we didn’t want to leave the place and will definitely be back be again ☺️
The most relaxing weekend of wining, dining and dancing. And the most beautiful rooms in the Allingham. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely beautiful, Had a great stay will definitely be back
Stayed here with my daughter on Friday night. Hotel location is great - overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Breakfast was good and service was efficient and friendly. Room was ok but a bit grubby - rust on the towel rail, broken bath handle, dirty shower curtain, etc. Also be prepared for loud country music from downstairs - so no sleeping before midnight! I felt that €140 night for a twin room was quite expensive.
Ate in the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was top class with a smile. Great experience. Had the chicken feast tonight, delicious. All our food was well preferred and tasty. Very happy. Excellent service. A**********
Hotel position is great and so lovely to sit and eat breakfast and dinner looking at the sea. Our room was very good and cleaned daily. All areas of hotel are clean, tidy and comfortable. Vast majority of staff are friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome especially the staff in the bar. Breakfast was almost excellent with plenty of variety and only let down by rubber fried eggs. We did have a polite word with our server and every time we ordered eggs although unfortunately nothing changed. We only had dinner once in hotel restaurant. Staff professional and standard of food good. The only major negative for us was that you had to have your breakfast at a set time. I’m sure this is convenient for most people although not for us as we like to get up early and explore surrounding area’s and towns. We asked at reception if we could change our times and we’re told that times are allocated on a first come first served basis. Plus breakfast was too good to miss. Apart from this my review would have been excellent although we would most definitely return.…
Loud music came from the bar downstairs. Couldn't sleep. When mentioned to staff at 10:50 pm and was told it was a 'standard' practice until 11:30. So I asked if I had to put up with it and the staff simply replied 'yes'. Unbelievably rude staff and bad management. Hugely disappointed and never go back!!
Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff, food, service, room nothing to fault. The owners should be proud as hell as to what they've created. I can't recommend this place high enough, brilliant weekend with good company. The seaview from our room was stunning, watched the surfers
stayed as a guest in this hotel, location is not too bad, could be better, food in restaurant but when i received the bill, i was shocked as i was charged €3 for a jug of mi-wadi. so if you are going here bring your own mi-wadi or just drink water.
