Just back from another fantastic stay at Portmarnock Hotel. It is the most wonderful place to stay, so relaxing. We had one of the newly refurbished seaview rooms, it was beautiful!! No expense has been spared. The huge bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. Breakfast as always was plentiful and a great start to the day....

We were greeted as we arrived and our luggage carried into the hotel and ultimately to our room by a very pleasant young man. Check-in was efficiently handled by another friendly but professional member of staff and we had beed upgraded from a garden view room to sea view room which had a lovely view including a window seat. The...

This hotel is absolutely spot on!!! Living in the area, we had our wedding reception and evening at the hotel and from start to finish it was fantastic. The newly renovated rooms are superb and all of our guests commented on how welcoming, helpful and accommodating EVERY member of staff was! We had a number of family and friends visiting...

We loved this hotel! Modern, fresh and lots to do! We especially loved the service of Eilish in the bar - a lovely girl from Donegal who was chatty and accommodating. We would definitely come here again.

Have travelled from Scotland every new year to visit this hotel. Always been welcomed and a genuinely enjoyable time. Until this year. They've definitely invested in a fancy new driveway and glass front. Food is great. But the service is the worst I've experienced in a while. Poor kids are working on minimum wage in a lovely refurbished hotel and...

This hotel has just had a tremendous make over. We have stayed many times and each time we see improvements. Staff are all very friendly food excellent although disappointed the restaurant closed last evening- possibly due to a wedding. The location is right on the beach and there is a beautiful coastal walk from Portmarnock to Malahide. Rooms are good...

Afternoon Tea on a Saturday afternoon in the Seaview Restaurant overlooking Portmarnock Beach is a lovely treat after working all week. I have been here twice in the last couple of months and can't wait to go back again. There is a pianist on a Saturday afternoon and it's lovely to have background music while you eat and chat. The...

I normally don't like massages facials etc but I'm heavily pregnant and felt under stress so I thought I'd try out the new Spa at Portmarnock Hotel. I can honestly say I was in heaven, I got a fab massage, from the staff to the products everything ticked all the boxes for me. I would highly recommend a trip ....

Dear John N, Thank you for your review. However I am surprised and disappointed to read this. My colleague, the Front of House Manager met with you upon departure and the only issue raised at the time was the issue with heating in your room. As a gesture of good will she applied a 10% discount to your overall bill....
