I stayed here two nights the hospitality shown in this establishment is just second to none ..The decor might be old but the friendliness of the staff and the way such an old building is kept so clean ...All in all a lovely hotel which is in the middle of Clonakilty and I would recommend it big time

Stayed in this hotel for June bank holiday weekend 2013.We are older (60-70) age group but modern and with it.The hotel is basic in the bedroom scene with older type panel doors and paper thin partitions but cleanliness to perfection. If you are snobbish or narrow minded this hotel will not suit you.We dined there on our first night as it...

Am writing a review of the restaurant, as we only ate there. First impressions are a bit grim, even allowing for flood aftermath, However the food in the restaurant was good, plenty of it and a very reasonable price. This together with lovely service makes it a good place to choose for a meal. British restaurateurs please visit and note...

We stayed in the Imperial for a tag rugby weekend that was on at Inchydoney beach, the rooms barely even had basic necessities in them, it was like going back in time! Since it was quite a big tournament the Imperial seemed to take advantage & change their group rate for this weekend. It almost seemed as though they felt...

Well I have to say that nothing appears to have changed since the earlier reviews and photos relating to this awful hotel. My daughter and I were making a short 6 day tour of Ireland and each evening had found a series of lovely hotels charging a special low out of season rate of between 35 and 40 euros each...
