Just back from a one night visit to Clonakilty. Got a lovely, genuine welcome from the lady of the house, Norma. There is a very warm and relaxed atmosphere in this lovely home. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was up there with the best I've had in hotels or bed and breakfasts. The key to this place is the host,...

My husband and I stayed here on New Year's Eve. We were attending a wedding in a hotel and all accommodation was booked so we booked here thankful to have got any accommodation! And what a gem we found! We arrived to the BnB to drop our bags before ordering a taxi to the hotel for the wedding. On arrival...

We were treated to ham sandwiches, apple tart and mince pies with tea on arrival. Everything we could have wished for was available or provided including directions to restaurants and tourist sites. Our stay ended with a huge breakfast selection.

A lovely B&B in a beautiful rural setting (the reflective signage was a life-saver in finding it in the dark). Norma and Mary were wonderful hosts, they met us with tea and scones after our long drive, and provided directions into town for a traditional music jam session at the local hotel. The beds were comfortable and pre-warmed with electric...

Stayed here while participating in the clonakilty marathon. Norma and Mary took great care of everyone staying. Breakfast was made for all early and information on the locale was given. As I don't drive norma picked me up from the bus stop, and drove me into the race. The facilities are excellent at Ard Na Greine. Could not recommend more.

The owner, Norma, is a nice lady, helpful and warm, who gave us all the information about our stay in Clonakilty and even booked our dinner at a restaurant. The house is in a very quiet location, among the countryside, and the rooms are cosy, not so modern, but charming. Our room was en suite, with lavabo in the bedroom...

The wonderful personal touch given by Norma was the thing that made this stay fantastic. The food was also delicous, homecooked and tasty, delivered in a friendly timely manner. there were many little things that made us love this place and we would happily return if we could, any time.

We stay here every year when we visit Clonakilty for the South of Ireland Band competition. Norma greets us each year like old friends as she serves us Tea & Scones. We just love the selection of food Norma serves every morning for breakfast. This is a great Bed & Breakfast to stay in.

Pros: Stayed for one night, the owner was a really lovely pleasant woman who gave good advice and tips on where to go in the area. The room was a good size and had its own on-suite and all amenities needed. Breakfast the next morning was very good-nothing was too much. Lots of choice and good quality ingredients. Neg: a...
