I can't recommend this B&B enough. It is simply gorgeous. Lucy and Ultan -the owners are wonderful hosts. The rooms are lovely, with all the trimmings. I loved how they used eco friendly products - shampoos, soaps etc in the rooms. We had a small baby and this was not a problem, they had a cot and a high chair.... More

We stayed here as a couple with a baby, and while we were a bit nervous travelling somewhere with a newborn they were really warm and receiving of her staying. Recommended for families in that respect. The food as other reviews mention is great, and in particular the dinner, I highly suggest doing the 3 course dinner not just for... More

Not having visited Ireland before we were not sure what to expect, but our week's stay with Lucy and Ultan has been one of the most memorable holidays we've had. We have learned so much about the country and experienced first hand the warmth and friendliness of the people here. Lucy and Ultan were superb hosts and we felt very... More

We had such an amazing time at Gort na Nain. The hosts were extremely warm, friendly, and knowledgeable without imposing on our privacy at all - a fine line to walk at many B&Bs, but Lucy and Ultan struck just the right balance! We stuck with their recommendations for restaurants and music when we went into town, and weren't disappointed.... More

A splendid experience in every way. Great food, good company, and a singing dog. I think if you are looking for a real experience of Irish hospitality you'd be hard pressed to find better. Very much recommended.

Ultan and Lucy are superb hosts and cooks. You will love your stay with them. Great food grown by themselves. A very unique vegetarian experience. They also supply vegetables to Cafe Paradiso in Cork. Spoil yourself!

We've been here 3 times now and it is our favorite place in Ireland to stay. It might be a little hard to find, but it is well worth it!! We enjoy talking with Lucy & Ultan and they may be the nicest people I've ever met. Ultan is a local musician so he can give you tips where to... More

Beautiful house, really incredible food. Ultan and Lucy are passionate about their land, and the food they produce and cook. They are generous with their time, knowledge and enthusiasm. The price was so reasonable too. I Cannot recommend this place enough.

Firstly a huge thank you to our hosts Lucy and Ultan who were not only so welcoming to their home, they also arranged to collect us car-less souls to take us to the farm. I'm not sure I can add much more to what has been added before - the room was comfortable with a beautiful view and a selection... More

We were lucky enough to spend one night here mid- July. Room was large and very comfortable. Location is perfectly peaceful, a bit off the beaten track but within a few minutes drive of Kinsale town. Breakfast was delicious, have to mention the particularly tasty chestnut sausages! Had an absolutely delicious picnic made up for us which we enjoyed on... More
