The reservations were very easy to make online with the proprietor. He offered to make dinner reservations for us in town, as we were traveling in July and they are hard to come by otherwise. We did have difficulty finding the B&B, because we went into town and the roads are EXTREMELY narrow. We had a very difficult time navigating...

"Hi sir the heat in our rooms seems to be off, can you turn it on?" -"Yes we didn't realize you are back, we'll switch it on for a few hours until we go to bed" "You can't keep it on all night!?" Welcome to Ireland. Andrew welcomed us to Kilcaw House and showed us to our rooms. The two...

We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Andrew, Marian and their delightful family are superb hosts. We loved the quality of the bedlinen, the size of the rooms and the spotless shower rooms. Breakfasts were freshly made to order and catered for individual needs, including the fussy coffee drinker. Local dining and "must see" recommendations for the area...

When I tried to reserve rooms at Kilcaw House, Andrew made a point of making sure I knew the property was undergoing some renovations. He assured me the work would not disturb us but wanted to me to make our decision with complete information. We decided to go ahead and reserve two rooms and I'm glad we did. The rooms...

The breakfast at Kilcaw House is so tasty and high quality, like in a hotel. The beds and linen really comfortable and fresh. Marion and Andy know the area very well and would advise you about where to go for a dinner in Kinsale. I highly recommend that B&B. The quality of everything is outstanding! Thank you

Kilcaw House is located only 3 minute drive away from Kinsale centre. Hosts were very friendly, breakfast was filling enough and room comfortable and very clean. The b&b is on beautiful grounds and ample space for parking. Kinsale town is very beautiful and staying in this bed and breakfast made it even better.

I stayed here for 2 nights last week and had a lovely spacious, very clean room with a very comfortable bed and fresh white linen. The shower worked a treat too which was a bonus! The hosts Marian and Andy were wonderful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome showing us places to go and giving...

My first time in Ireland was in June last year and my first B&B Kilcaw House, the reason why I would recommend this place to any traveller is because of the all package, not only you get good accommodation, but the breakfast is very different and scrumptious, what make this place stand out is the couple that run this place,...

A personal and lovely visit, home from home. In beautiful grounds and coupled with wonderful service. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfasts were amazing. Bespoke to your requirements and one of our party was gluten free which was wholly accommodated. In close proximity to the lovely town of Kinsale, we will certainly revisit.

“You could walk to Kinsale from here (about a km) but would probably recommend cab or driving (or asking Andy if he is headed to town :) ).”

“Although I am a single person , I was given a lovely double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. I have seen several of her other rooms, all wonderful. Also, the dining room, hall/entrance and sitting area for guests all spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable . I noticed lovely fresh flowers were always placed in this area too. Very welcoming and comfortable .”
