Stayed at Rocklands recently. Every one of our party commented how lovely it was. The accommodation is located on a hill offering superb views. John is a tremendously friendly host and very knowledgeable when it comes to the history of the surrounding area. Rooms are well furnished with very comfortable beds. The delicious breakfast, served in a lovely room overlooking...

Our time at Rocklands was delightful! What a great breakfast to have a buffet of cold foods, then to be able to order off a menu! Our congenial host inquired about our Irish background...and took time to look up last names in our family tree to help us search our ancestry. It was a 2 minute car ride down the...

Perched high above the bustling town of Kinsale, Rocklands House is an idyll - a retreat from the real world. Beautifully appointed and sympathetically managed it is an oasis of luxurious calm. The Bedrooms are superb, the lounge area sumptuous, the gardens idyllic and mine host gracious in the extreme - whiskeys before dinner and then run you into town...

Loved this bnb, stayed just one night but taking the time to write a review as we thought very highly of the place. Perfect location, ten minute walk down the hill to the town which is perfect (especially the walk back after dinner is good) it's super comfy, clean and breakfast is really really good!! Our host John made me...

Just can't say enough about this B&B. David greeted us with freshly baked scones and tea or coffee. Then, he showed us to our detached garden apartment with its own patio overlooking the Bendon River. We were only there for one night so didn't have a chance to take advantage of the full kitchen (including clothes washer). The main house...

John greeted us when we arrived late, gave us a tour, and informed us that breakfast was between 8.15 and 10.30am. Not only were our accomidations fantastic, but the breakfast was delicious, with...

My husband and I have been traveling around Ireland, having a lovely time. Last night we stayed at Rocklands, and I have to say it's one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in- maybe even THE best! The cottage we stayed in was fully outfitted for extended stays, with a well-supplied kitchen, even had a washer/dryer. More than...

Lovely place to stay in Kinsale. A bit of a walk downtown but not bad, worth it to be at such a quiet location with a stunning view of the bay. Room was nice, good breakfast, great hosts. One of our favorite stays during the trip. Highly suggest driving to Charles Fort, that was another highlight.

Two couples, from the UK went on a golfing holiday to Ireland in early July and found this gem of a B & B in Kinsake overlooking the most beautiful bay. John, the owner was a sheer delight and most helpful on the tourism front as well as a whizz at making omelettes. Couldn't do enough to make our stay...

I stayed here with a friend recently and we had a great time. We had a wonderful adventure getting there, up and down the windy hills of Kinsale, and when we saw the drive down to the house we knew we were going somewhere magical. The house is in a beautiful setting with fantastic views. It is a nice walk...
