My wife and myself decided to try out this Eco Campsite after talking to fellow campervan owners on our travels around Ireland. After a lengthy journey to Clifden we pulled into this campsite and drove to what we thought was a convenient and safe parking area. Needing to stretch my legs I took a look at the campsite and started...

**** Unauthorised Entrant Contriving Security**** The individual in question, a male, entered the property at a time when a sex offender alert was or had been issued. He did not present himself to reception & was encountered wandering about the premises contravening child protection policies & security. Safe guards are in place prohibiting unauthorised entrants access to the park’s amenities...

We had a perfect pitch, the location is incredible. The views out to the twelve bens awe inspiring. Some may criticise the toilet facilities, but few campsites I have been at provide well-seasoned fire wood and a brazier to burn it in safely. None have a beach so handy and well proportioned. The entire site & facilities are impeccably clean....

Want to wake up, open your tent and look down to a white sandy beach and clear sea? This is the campsite for you. We got very lucky with the weather so went swimming in the sea here and over at Dog's bay in Roundstone both days. Both freezing but beautiful. The campsite here has a good feel. It would...

The location is spectacular – at a point on a white powder sand beach and adjoining a river inlet, looking out over the Atlantic ocean with occasional dolphins leaping in the bay. The atmosphere is extremely friendly but not forcibly so, and this comes from the people that run the site as well as the aura associated with the location....

We LOVE this campsite. We were given a choice of plots on arrival, both of which were great, with lots of space and gorgeous views. The location near Claddaghduff is amazing - the campsite has its own fantastic white sandy beach and Clifden with great restaurants, shops and cinema is only 15 minutes away in a car. The campsite offers...

This place is verging on the mystical. Such a stunning place, a long long drive but boy is it worth it. The owners work hard to make this place special. We had a spot overlooking the ocean in our rented Lazy Days vintage camper , simply stunning. You must use one of the fire pits, they are great , for...

My family and I have just returned from Ireland staying at this wonderful campsite for 2 weeks. We are a family of 4 (2 boys aged 12 and 15) staying in our touring caravan. The setting is idealic with beautiful beaches right on your doorstep and stunning scenery all around. A short drive takes you to the Connemara National Park...

This gem of a campsite nestled in the dunes of one of the remotest western tips of Europe would be worthy of 5 ✨ if it was just an ordinary campsite - pitches snuggled into the dunes allow you to roll out of bed and onto stunning white sands and breathtaking views of the wildest of the Wild Atlantic Way....

Our third time camping in this wonderful place. The commitment to adhering to how holidays can be experienced and celebrated, is what this campsite is about. Remaining in touch with the simplest of pleasures of wild, wet weather, and the drama of amazing physical geography - such treasures are to be protected - so that they continue for generations ahead....

This is my second visit to this campsite. It is right on a beautiful, white sandy private beach, which is never busy. The water is crystal clear. Both times I have stayed here for 2 nights with my family. We were greeted by Chris who is very friendly, he showed us around all the facilities. The campsite is never crowded,...
