I love this hotel! All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The food is second to none. It is in a very scenic area with some amazing views. The hotel is also great for a party, the hotel workers always seem to get Involved

The hotel is old but it has ambiance. It is nestled in a lovely locale. Our room had a view of a little babbling brook. The champagne reception was enjoyable and generous pours. Dinner was very good. The hosts are cute charmers. It was a nice one day break in our tour.

Was here recently on a romantic break .. but was really disappointed with the overall package being offered .. food was good but same menu's both nights which is a bit dated in the approach .. rooms and hotel in general needs investment as whilst really clean the decor and corridors are tired and narrow .. lack of light and...

While visiting Ireland, my fiancé and I went out of our way to stay at the Abbeyglen Castle. Our first impression upon arrival was that the castle was stunning and the doorman was very helpful and polite. Unfortunately our experience went downhill after that. The gentleman checking us in was extremely rude which made the experience quite uncomfortable. They were...

I stayed here for one night and had a really lovely stay and was sorry not to be waiting a second night. I love the decor of the Abbeyglen, particularly the open turf fires in the lobby and bar. This might not be to everyone's taste but I loved it. The staff there are very engaging and really work at...

We went for a 3 day break. The Food was amazing the dining room staff were the most competent I have ever came across. Some of the posh restaurants in Dublin should send their staff there for lessons. Room was spectacular with a fire, sofa and 4 poster bed. Can't wait to go back.

The real heart of Ireland. Our stay here was amazing. The Hotel is exactly perfect and the staff and customer service is second to none. I can't say enough about Abbeyglen Castle as it really is an exciting place and if anyone wants to experience real hospitality then this is the place to stay in Clifden Connemara.

Myself and my partner recently went for a night away from Galway city to the Abbeyglen castle. We both agreed it was a really enjoyable stay. The building itself is impressive, and the setting is really picturesque. The best way to describe the experience is "quirky", and I mean that in the best way possible. The staff are very friendly,...
