We stayed Easter weekend. It really is a pleasure to stay in a place where the owners are there and and genuinely take time to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Paddy and Julia were wonderful hosts and you can tell they've been in the business a long time. They know the business and do it right. We received...

We came there for three nights. We had the room "Sauvage". It was really lovely with a lovely view on the harbor. Julia and her husband are very kind. We've been happy to sleep in their guest house. Thanks again Amandine & Julien from France

Beautiful period property, we stayed in the Napoleon room, came back from being out for supper and curled up in front of an open fire with a glass of wine, I could not have asked for anything else, what a wonderful place with the loveliest people, thank you Paddy and Julia.

Rare mixture of quality accommodation, eclectic furnishing, and gregarious friendly hosts...this three floor Inn is 5-10 mins walk from the town centre, located on the quayside overlooking the tidal basin. Super-owners Paddy & Julia go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome, and pugs Banjo and Blossom add to the fun. 'Interesting interiors' says their website, and every room...

We just chanced upon this lovely inn right on the inner harbor and didn't want to leave. The owners are outstandingly friendly even by the standards of Ireland where so many people are so friendly and nice. The breakfast was extraordinary. This is what a B&B should be..you shouldn't want to leave. Be sure to check out the Sky Road.

I stayed 3 nights here. The accommodation is spectacular, unique and comfortable. It is well situated by the sea side, close to the main town centre. The town is well equipped for tourists. Paddy & Julia are great hosts, and do a mean breakfast

We chose The Quay House because of it's seaside location. We found our Hosts Julia and Paddy the most gracious of hosts and breakfasts were fantastic and delicious. Town center is only a 2 minute drive away and the Sky Drive to Kylemore Castle/Abbey is breathtaking. We would highly recommend the Quay House.

The only advice i got when considering booking a couple nights here was simple; book it! And so where to start? The rooms? Views? Hosts? Food? It doesn't matter. The attention to detail is so subtle and nuanced despite the overt theatre of the rooms, the hallways, basically everything. It's sort of a Playboy Mansion of The Western World! We...

What a treat! Friends took us to Clifden & the Quay House for my husbands big birthday. It was a joy. The rooms are all different with so many wonderful pieces, every day we noticed something new and equally wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Paddy & Julia are wonderful hosts, welcoming and there the give advice but not intrusive and very...
