If not the best by itself, then for sure tied for the best! This was a great place to stay as we traveled all around the coast of Ireland. Guests were made to feel welcome in a way that was warm and genuine and truly thoughtful. Every need was thought of to make the stay memorable and comfortable. The sitting...

Our second visit to Ardmore House and we were just as pleased as our first stay; lovely spotless clean room, best shower we had in Ireland; the breakfast had plenty of healthy choices. Ardmore private walk to the cliffs and the picnic benches made our evenings perfect. Kathy and John are always there to help and gave us lots of...

This was the most scenic location of our overnight stays on our 11 day trip to Ireland, however that comes at a cost. The road to Ardmore house is, like many in Ireland, single lane and subject to livestock movement. It is also a good 15 minute drive outside of Clifden, which makes it difficult to venture into town for...

The only problem I had with our stay at Ardmore House was that it was only for one night ! A lovely welcome from Kathy , top class accommodation, holding a well earned AA 4Star status and a stunning location. I look forward to a return visit with the walking boots in order to enjoy the cliff path walk which...

We stayed here two nights while visiting the Clifden area. Very nice and modern room with a comfortable bed. The walk to the cliffs was a unique experience for a B & B. Also the drive from Clifden. The first time I tried it, I wasn't sure I could handle the return trip, especially with three women in the car...

The Admore House just outside of Cliffden is the perfect destination when traveling along the west coast of Ireland. Kathy and Jon were great hosts. As soon as we arrived, Kathy showed us to our room which had a great view of the cliffs. The room was spacious, neat, and every room has its own bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious,...

You can believe all the nice things said about this place! Kathy & John take pride in everything they do, and it shows. Our room was large, spotless, modern, and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were superb! Do take a stroll down the private walkway they have built that leads to the cliffs, as it is indeed a welcome bonus. The drive...

Simply the best B&B we've been. Great family welcome. Great view. Great room, shower... Great breakfast. And they have a private trail to cliffs near the ocean... All other reviews are right. This couple is amazing and you will enjoy every moment you are there. Andrey & Sagit

My brother and I stayed in the Ardmore House for one night in May 2014 and it has been by far the best B&B we have experienced during our trip through Ireland. The location is breathtaking as the house overviews the ocean. Very easy to reach by road, 5 mins drive away from Clifden. At our arrival we were greeted...

Perhaps the most memorable things about this B&B are the sunsets. Kathy and John are wonderful hosts with great recommendations and knowledge of the Connemara area. Roads are not intimidating if you drive slowly and carefully. Not a big deal. We stayed here two days and well worth it as we visited the Connemara National Park and hiked the Diamond...
