Just spent a week camping at this wonderful site. The staff were very helpful and polite. We were in a tent during a wet and windy week but our pitch was very well protected. There's free WIFI (coded) there was a TV room with a new pool table in it. A covered in cooking area, a shower block with lovely...

Wonderful campsite. Thomas and the rest of his staff could not have been more helpful when we visited the campsite and unfortunately broke down. I asked at reception if they could find a number for a mechanic. Instead, a few minutes later, Thomas appeared at our van and drove me to see the local mechanic Mr Acton, who very kindly...

Beautiful campsite!! very near to Clifden, perfect to go on Sky Road, Omey Island and of course Connemara National park. It's my second time in Ireland..this time with my family...over the years this campsite remains my favourite little heaven:)..and my family agreed with me. Tried to book in advance- that was not possible. Asked could i pay in advance of arrival to secure site with electric hook up - not possible either. Sites are very small. Ground is moist On lower site. Very few electric hook ups. Knowledge poor you dont pitch a tent under a tree.

Just home from 3 nights here. Lovely site, owners very helpful and as others have said live on site. Showers really hot and lovely and clean. Obviously on wet days they do get dirty from time to time but cleaned up regularly. Very quiet.Place to have camp fire across the road which the kids loved. Clifden close by and lovely...

This is a beautiful, scenic and quiet site overlooking the impressive Twelve Bens, 2km from Clifden. You receive a warm Connemara welcome and the facilities are spotless. We came for one night and stayed for four!

Stayed for four nights and was impressed with the site. It is well-maintained with friendly staff. Handy for Clifden although you do have to walk on the road for some of the way if on foot. Very quiet location and a good base to explore Connemara from.

Couldn't fault it, wonderful place, very peaceful but near enough to everything. Toilets and free showers spotlessly clean as is the wash up area and grounds. very close to Cliftden town centre, take the sky loop road for fantastic scenery and a trip across to Omey Island when the tide allows is amazing. We only intended staying one night but...

This is a lovely site and a great base for exploring the area. We spent a week there with our caravan when we had intended to be touring! There was no need to move on as it had so much in the area to enjoy. The site is so well laid out on a scenic site with private bays for...
