This is a nice modern bungalow with ensuite bedrooms in a lovely position on the lower Sky Road and a short walk takes you to the cliffs with spectacular view over Clifden and sea. You choose your breakfast in advance and we enjoyed our ham and cheese platter and fruit platter. We really enjoyed our stay here.

My wife and I stayed at Rockmount House for three days in May 2016. We had also stayed there in May 2014 and were quite pleased to visit with Anne and Paddy again. Paddy and Anne are very attentive and informative and consistently display the ultimate Irish hospitality. We have stayed in 19 different B&B's in Ireland over the past...

I love writing reviews about places like this - so easy as there was absolutely nothing negative about this place! Out of all the B&Bs we stayed in during our visit to Ireland, this was the only one where we were genuinely made to feel welcome. We arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, but it was no problem at all....

We took a chance but it worked out so much better than we could have imagined. Rockmount House has an incredible location on the amazing Sky Road with backyard of cliffs overlooking the...

You will be welcomed at this B&B situated at the lower sky road by 2 beautiful, yet discrete dogs. They will walk away in dignity if you are not a dog lover (as I am, but I had to make an exeption to my rule :-). We had a nice and clean room at the front of the house, but...

I stayed at Rockmount Hose with a colleague whilst visiting Mayo and the Connemara National Park. The coast is beautiful with cliffs and nesting seabirds at the end of the garden. We were made very welcome and comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
