Lunch here on a weekday. Pretty busy place, no competition in the town so in we went for a light lunch. The chowder earned high praise but the open crab sandwich was a travesty. The crab was enveloped in a thick gloopy rose marie sauce and so dominated the taste abd texture. This is sauce normally reserved for prawn vol-au-vents...

the room was comfortable if a bit small but on the top floor with no lift. on our arrival we had to seek out a staff member in the bar, and there was no offer of help with our luggage. The hotel felt very impersonal. On our second night my husband became so ill we needed to call an ambulance. I...

This old hotel has had a lovely modern renovation, the rooms are fresh & although small very comfortable. The hotel breakfast was great, all cooked fresh & with friendly service. The hotel car park is a short stroll & down a hill so if you have larger luggage or if its raining would recommend dropping of at door before parking.

All in all a great experience. The service was nice and friendly. The Guiness yummy. The bed - AMAZING. The room was a little tight, but we made it work. The bathroom was spacious and the tub comfortable. The breakfast was very good, but the other meals we had weren't has tasty. This is a great place to start your...

Accommodation was excellent and so was the service. We had a number of queries regarding our trip around the ring of Kerry and all were dealt with positively by the staff. The hotel staff looked after us and made us very welcome.

We called in here during the Puck fair for some lunch. Admittedly the town was very busy as was the restaurant area. The menu was very limited, we ordered sandwiches. Each sandwich was literally two slices of white bread, the filling (cheese/onion, ham or beef) in a basket. That was it - and it cost €6.50 each. No mayonnaise offered,...

The Bianconi is an amazingly comfortable and modern hotel in the middle of a quaint and somewhat quiet Irish town. The beds are the best we encountered during our trip. The room is very clean, contemporary and spacious. The bathroom was very modern with a wonderful showerhead. The hotel was very quiet, we couldn't hear anything from the hallways or...

The carpark lies beside the stunning River Laune, take a moment to savour this view. The hotel corners a 'busy' crossroads and it was with surprise that we discovered such a stylish interior. The bar was absolutely charming and we enjoyed a warm welcome from customers and staff and the gentle buzz of the background chatter. It seemed a mix...

A fantastic welcome to a lovely spot. Good food, great staff and amazing Guinness. I'll be back because it is nestled between the sea and the mountains in a village with some lovely restaurants and bars. The rooms are fantastically appointed and I felt right at home.
