This was a charming place in which to spend a couple of nights. It is exactly what it says it is - a B n B with no restaurant or bar, but with both easily available nearby. The rooms were small but clean and cosy, and the service was excellent and friendly. All in all, a very nice place to... More

Hi, we had a very old and very small room with waterstains at the ceiling and strange other stains in the carpet. Everything was very old, next to dirty. We absolutely didn't like it. May be there are other rooms but this one showed very clearly: I don't care if you like it or not. Breakfast was quit poor, no... More

This B&B was the perfect place to stay when driving the Ring of Kerry. John and Margaret were welcoming and helpful. My room was basic and clean and had a small ensuite. The price included a cooked breakfast in the dining room as well as free wifi. There was a lounge area with a tv and coffee, tea and biscuits... More

I stayed here for one night following my walk from Glencar to Glenbeigh. The proprietors could not have been more helpful. Among other things, they arranged for an early breakfast as I had to catch a bus to Killarney. The room was comfortable and clean with a decent view. Some people might be turned off to not having in-room tea/coffee... More

This is a basic B&B - no frills to the rooms - but a great location if you're doing the Ring of Kerry and getting weary. They have a very nice lounge with a TV and computer you can use (as well as decent Wi-Fi in the rooms!), and a big breakfast room. Shower got hot FAST! They're a block... More

For 55euro in peak season, you can't ask for more. Nice hosts with good Irish breakfast. Plenty of car parks behind the building. Good pub and bistro in the vicinity. Reasonable wifi signal. Facility could do with an upgrade especially for the bathroom. Keep in mind, you may wish to have some cash with you as we got told that... More

My room at The Village House B&B was very clean and exceptionally comfortable. The bed was perfect and the linens were very nice. The innkeepers couldn't have been more kind. It's location - right on the main drag - is convenient, especially for those like me, who travel on foot.

I was given a key to the front door which was a big help. The breakfast was very nice with a selection of cereals,juices,yoghurts... More

I stayed here for 6 days and loved it. At 12 kms from Kilorglin, and about 32 from Killarney,it's a great place from which to explore West Kerry. In the centre of a working rural village, with supermarket, café, bistro, takeaway, and 2 good pubs within 100 mtrs. The fabulous Rossbeigh beach is 2 kms away. Rooms are clean, cosy... More

Me and my friend stayed at the Village House for one night in September when we were walking the Kerry Way. It's situated in the very centre of the small village just opposite a small Supermarket. Our room was comfortable and quiet. John and his wife are very lovely and welcoming. John has a great sense of humor and he... More
