Thomas & Mary have quite the history on this property and one should keep in mind that this is not a working farm house. I believe it is Thomas' family home and as such, there are all sorts of furnishings and things from generations of living there. They were a bit stiff to talk to at first but the next...

Mismatch of everything in the room. Odd chairs, one with split plastic covering with foam showing. The other one could be mistaken for a camode. No tv let a lone a flatscreen tv which was advertised on their website. (Website is very misleading) Wardrobes from the 70's as well as toilet facilities. Odd sets of very used towels. The room was...

Tired dated b&b but as I got a good rate thought we'd just make the best of it. Until landlady came banging on my door insisting that I had taken advantage of wrongly advertised rate on booking.com after very heated discussion had to contact booking.com who verified that mr dillane had loaded incorrect rate. Not my problem and they had...

We really fancied staying in a farm house on our travels round southern Ireland. Sadly we were very disappointed with what we experienced. House looks quite good from the outside but inside is very tired and neglected. Staying with another couple we had two rooms. Friends room was slightly bigger, however shower hardly worked, was very grubby. There was no...

We already stayed in a few bed&breakfast.....: Friendly host and nice breakfast. But the room was pretty small (so was the bed) and the bathroom was kind of dirty. I wouldn't go there again...................

This is a very homely farmhouse where you feel you are staying with the owners. The rooms are ok but could do with updating. They have a lounge on the ground floor where you can relax and watch sky. Parking and the guesthouse are at the front of the building. They only take cash (there is an ATM in the...

We only stayed for one night but very much enjoying the B&B. We had a very comfortable ensuite triple room with our two year old son, and the host and hostess were very accommodating with a breakfast early the next morning so that we could catch the first ferry. The location is very convenient for the ferry and made for...

My mother, sister, and I stayed for one night in July 2013 and had a very nice visit. The couple who own the farmhouse couldn't have been more welcoming. They were so nice when we showed up at 7PM with no reservation -- offered us tea and plenty of advice about where to get an evening meal. The farmhouse is...

I had booked and confirmed well in advance a room for 4 May 2013 but upon arrival I found the door closed. It was 17.45. No message nowhere. I called just in case the bell was not working correctly. Noone replied. I waited 15 min and then I left because it was a Saturday night, during a busy bank holiday...
