Camped with the family late summer. Still plenty going on. People at the site were very kind - Joe helped us put our tent up in the rain and Patrick scanned documents for us to help our uni application. We loved having a music room. The beach is stony, but beautiful. A good spot for exploring the Ring of Kerry.... More

When we were looking for a campsite in Kerry, this one kept popping up as the 'best campsite in Ireland'. After staying there I can say I don't know if it's the best campsite in Ireland as I haven't staying on all of them, but in my 40 odd years of camping all over Europe it's without a shadow of... Covering as much as we could in Cork and Kerry for 11 days in our motorhome - we came across Mannix Point Camping and Caravan site- and I am so so glad we did - it was one of the best highlights of our journey. From the first phone call to enquire about availability to the time of leaving it... More

My family and I camped in Mannix Point for the first time in July of this year. We all had such a great time, especially the children, ages 10 and 8, that we just had to go back for another trip in August before the kids went back to school. Undoubtedly, for us the highlight of this fabulous campsite were... More

Lovely views but very wet and windy when we stayed. Site fine but showers quite small and sometimes not functioning properly. I had a jet stream shower once. Nice facilities for washing and drying and freezer but washing machines and dryers VERY expensive so beware. 5 euros a wash and 5 Euros for 1 drying cycle!

Spent a few beautiful days at this gorgeous campsite. Fabulous location on the sea shore surrounded by mountains. Great facilities with an open fire and comfortable seating area.I especially enjoyed the scent of the sweet peas under the canopy at the utilities block. The subdued lighting is lovely at twilight. It is a very welcoming site with lovely staff. Mortimer,... More

Charming, friendly, clean campsite with all the necessary amenities. Great views of seaside, castle, Valencia Island. Close enough to town to walk to a restaurant and local pubs. (Highly recommend QC's for some yummy seafood). Our two Vizlas also loved the chance to run around.

Travelled with family together with another family of friends. While putting up tents was a bit of an experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The campsite facilities were first class with cooking facilities, using communal pots/pans/delph etc if needed. A great shelter from poor weather in the music room where at night there were impromptu music sessions which were excellent.... More

One of the most delightful sites visited in Ireland. Perfect pitches some by the water's edge. The facilities are so clean and cleaned all day long. There is washing up and laundry and the most inviting campers kitchen stocked with hobs, fridge freezers, kettles, toasters and best of all plates, cups, cutlery, saucepans and bowls. All you need is your... More
