This is beautiful old manor house but is not really a hotel. I have had better rooms at much lesser hotels. Having said that, this place is worth the stay for a night. The library access in the evening with the great fireplaces is worth the price of admission alone. The grounds too are quite stunning although it seems like...

We stayed in beautiful Bantry House for two nights and had the most wonderful time. Sophie was so welcoming and our room was spacious and clean with a fabulous view out over the stunning gardens. Breakfast was a delight, the pancakes with fresh fruit, honey and yoghurt deserve a special mention! Felt like we were a world away from it...

The room s were spacious and the host we very gracious and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the small town at Bantry is a short walk away. I would highly recommend...

This is on of the most delightful places we've ever been. The gardens are breathtaking, as is the view from our spacious charming room. The owners made us feel very welcomed. A highlight was the egg plucked from the henhouse, set aside for my son's breakfast. Talk about farm to table!

What an experience. Welcomed by the 10th generation of the owning family, and in a delightful room with a sensational garden view. I even got to play (badly) the 1890 Bluthner Grand in their remarkable library. And thrown in was a tour of the house and gardens, which really was very special. Don't miss out on this if you ,a...

Very good breakfast attractive to all senses. Free tour through the remaining part of the house and gardens. If you are in Bantry only one night and you don't mind to spend some EUR more...

I stayed here back in 1998 and have thought fondly of it ever since. It was so unique to be able to stay in this beautiful place. It was so peaceful and the grounds were lovely. The rooms were very nice. The hosts were very unassuming and friendly. They gave us good recommendations for dinner. We had a wonderful time...

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Bantry House. Our room was so comfortable and serene, with a lovely view of the gardens out back and some great luxury touches, such as a heated bathroom floor. Sophie was a charming and warm host, and the breakfasts were wonderful--and served in a lovely space. We felt so lucky to be staying...
