Room 234 with sea view. Very dated, in need of modernisation and looks dirty. Dark coloured room so felt small even having two big windows. The bed sloped due to the uneven floor so had to sleep the wrong way round. The bathroom was dirty and the shower head rusty, which fell off if you moved it. There's a small...

We had a very pleasant couple of days in Cobh, staying in this landmark waterfront hotel. We were very happy with the hotel and its facilities, including a space in their relatively small car park. The room was spacious, and quiet except for a little bit of noise from a weekend late night event in the hotel. But it didn't...

We were staying in Cork for a few days over midterm and decided to check Cobh out on one of the evenings. To be honest its a quaint town but a little tired. We were looking for a bit to eat and never saw so many Chinese restaurants in one area. We were heading to the car when the Commodore...

Walked down to the Commodore Hotel from our bed and breakfast (Mountview) for dinner at O'Shea's during our only night in Cobh. Being an avid collector of ocean liner memorabilia, I was pleased to see so many photos, prints, and models. Cool atmosphere, indeed. The service was friendly, if not a little slow, and the food was just fine. Although...

We stayed a night recently in this sea front hotel in Cobh. The hotel appears a bit faded inside but this just adds to the character of a great place stay. The hotel has a great history and the Lusitania, Titanic and Jack Doyle memorabilia are a fascinating insight into a bygone age. The view over the harbour is excellent...

The staff in the hotel are lovely, however the hotel itself is extremely dated and seems to be capitalising on its location rather than anything else. Its a little disconcerting to see a member of staff on his hands & knees trimming carpet ribbons, to then be called into the breakfast room to clear tables and assist guests. We were...

This is a great historic hotel right on the main drag in Cobh. The rooms are really beautiful, and the included breakfasts and dinners were very good. The location is perfect for exploring Cobh and it is an easy train ride to Cork.
