We booked the Garden Retreat (€50 per weeknight, €75 at weekends), one of ten units of accommodation. Everything was provided and was perfect (except the tiny double bed and the non-working lamps!) and we had the run of the 97-acre estate, including the pool and gardens (normally €5). The owners, Paul and Georgiana Keane, made us very welcome, and it...

This is a place I will keep going back to. There is magic in the air there. Have stayed in both the Foresters and the Courtyard. Accommodation in both is lovely and very well stocked. I travelled with my family, two small children and they loved it. Looking forward to my next visit :-)

I recently stayed at Inish Beg, and found the Courtyard Cottages really comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. I was tired after a day at work and a long drive but the warmth of the house was welcomed. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. The breakfast was very nice, served in the warm cosy kitchen of...

Stayed at the Foresters. Beautiful secluded location in the woods with lovely walks through the estate. The dog loved it. Great views and well equipped accommodation. Staff and owners were very welcoming especially the Head Gardener. The swimming pool was a bonus and we used it every day. Would definitely go again. Make sure you visit Loch Hine.

I recently visited Inisbeg gardens with my mother and children. The entry fee is €5 for adults. The gardens are lovely and the pirate trail made the walk very exciting for my young children. A nice young gentleman member of the staff welcomed us, gave us maps and sent us on our way. It was turning out to be a...

We stayed here for a wedding recently. The cottages were nice, the outdoor area in the garden was lovely to sit and have a drink in but the bed sheets were damp. Also be careful if you need showers during the day. Half of our party didn't shower until 3pm and there was hot water. The island itself is beautiful,...

lovely woodland walks. We were there for a wedding. Signposting was very bad within the estate, but the lakeside venue was indeed fairy tale and any brides dream venue. If it is raining, flat shoes are essential, as it becomes very muddy indeed there.

A group of us stayed in the Boathouse in April. I thought the house was perfect, it had everything we needed and expected and I would recommend it. The grounds were lovely, I had no problem with the pool it was all really nice. My only issue while I was there was the staff (or owners? I'm not sure what...

This was our third time in Inishbeg. We got married there in May 2013 and have returned for our anniversary every year. The boathouse is lovely, especially for a special occasion. The cottage we stayed in this year was fab and the little garden with it so nice for sitting out and enjoying a cuppa. Words cannot describe the tranquility...

We stayed here in February and loved every moment of our stay. The Lodges are really comfortable and clean. They have under floor heating and are really cosy and warm. The walks around the estate are spectacular and really interesting, with stunning views everywhere. We loved using the pool and steam room. Probably the nicest self catering accommodation we have...
