I visited the Knights bar in this hotel on Sunday last the 21st of May. We had arranged to meet friends there for a catch up & some lunch. I decided to order the "Mrs Quinn picnic" which was a small sandwich, small bowl of soup & a small little Dessert. The rest of my friends ordered sandwiches. When mine...

If there are any issues staff seem to want to defer to our anyone else other than deal with the customer issue. Place seems short-staffed, lacks the special attention that you would expect from their prices, and the food is average. I would very much question the rating.

The grounds of castlemartyr are lovely. The room itself was comfortable and the bed was lovely. There was a pink stain on the floor, awkward to plug in kettle and all the lamps were plugged out. Breakfast was very basic. Limerick ham was on the buffet menu but it definately wasnt present. My poached egg was hard and presentation was...

Stayed in the walled garden lodges , a tranquil self catering spot where you can enjoy all the facilities of the hotel. Spa, restaurants, golf, walks and bonus if you are an animal lover you can bring your dog along with the family. Highly recommended for a get away.
