I highly recommend the Abbey House B&B! It is such a perfect mixture of the clean efficient elegance of a 3-4 star hotel (clean, spacious room, modern facilities & conveniences--in room electric kettles) and the warmth and comfort you hope for in a B&B (friendly staff & owner, comfortable sitting room, beautiful grounds and a DELICIOUS breakfast). Our family of...

We recently stayed here as a stop during our honeymoon. Helen is a wonderful host. The house is located directly across from Jerpoint Abbey and is a short drive in to Kilkenny. Great stay ....would stay here again.

My sister-in-law found this lovely B&B for our brief trip to Ireland in February. We were completely delighted with every aspect of our visit. Our daughters stayed in one large room with a beautiful view of the old mill and green fields, and my husband and I looked out at Jerpoint Abbey, which we toured on our first full day...

A beautiful traditional B&B in Thomastown. I would highly recommend a visit. The owner Helen is a fabulous lady, warm and very funny and cooks a hearty breakfast with something for everyone. The rooms are fresh and clean and the staff are excellent. The house is set in its own grounds and gardens are lovely. I will definitely be going...

I recently stayed here with a group of friends who were all attending a wedding at the nearby Mount Julliet hotel. From the minute we arrived we knew we had picked the right place to stay. The amazing proprietor Helen welcomed the group with the finest of Irish charm. The house itself is beautiful, excellent rooms, lovely gardens to enjoy...

A lovely Guest house in an idyllic setting nestled in the heart of the country side . What made the place better was the amazing host who went above and beyond for us even dropping us to pick our car up from the local hotel the next morning . Thanks Helen

Lovey spot and very nice proprietor. Delicious breakfast with generous portions and lots of choices and very comfortable rooms. Off the beaten path but great for a break from hectic cities. View of Abbey and river adds to the charm.

My Brother found this place and he struck gold with this one. Beautiful house right across the road from Jerpoint Abbey. The room was wonderful, clean and comfy, the breakfast was amazing, and the lovely lady who owns the place Helen? was so sweet. We couldn't believe our luck. You can literally walk across the road to Jerpoint if you...

We spend one night at Abbey House. The room was big and very comfy. Very good breakfast and friendly owner, Helen. The house is across the road from the Jerpoint Abbey and walking distance to the small village.

For a visit Jerpoint Abbey (directly across the road) and sights in and around Kilkenny, Abbey House is ideal. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding--freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh breads (including the best banana bread I've ever had) and absolutely delicious eggs from Helen's chickens.
