Patricia has made our stay wonderful from start to finish! Lovely rooms, beautiful and spacious bathroom ensuite. Food at breakfast was amazing. Best Bacon in Ireland yet.... Very convenient to Galway to see Trad in the Prom and Patricia helped with the directions and was spot on. Would stay again. Great views around and even a baby goal in the...

Booked in for 2 nights at the Mountain View Guesthouse and we stayed an extra night. Really friendly proprietors - nothing was too much trouble. Nice room very high standard of cleanliness. Good breakfast. Would highly recommend this 4* guesthouse.

We stumbled upon this gem and stayed two nights. The owners were exceptionally gracious and the room was very spacious and clean. We were even treated to some traditional Irish music (accordion) by their talented, self-taught son. He's also very knowledgeable about the history (natural and cultural) of the area.

We stayed 2 nights at the Mountain View and the twin room was spacious and very clean. Patricia was a very attentive hostess and you would nearly need a sleep after her breakfast fry. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation or location for our fishing trip with Lough Corrib was only a 2 minutes drive away. Frank B

Patricia even got up very early for the Ultra marathon runners and the full runners. I was greeted that morning by the breakfast including milk for me especially so that was very kind and she...

Very clean. Perfect spot to stay for Connemara and Galway. We had a bottle of wine in the room for the evening and when we came back from our day trip we had 2 wine glasses in our room. Very thoughtful. The breakfast is very good. You have a great selection. Thank you. We will come back.

We visited for the connemarathon and chose this B &B based on the trip advisor reviews. Patricia and Dick couldn't have been more welcome or helpful. The breakfast was excellent (three chefs in the group) and the room very comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and the nearby village is lovely. Great place to stay. Would highly recommend

We stayed for two nights in The Mountain View Guesthouse during the weekend of The Connemarathon 2016. We were greeted warmly by proprietors Dick and Patricia on our arrival and made feel 'at home' from the minute we walked into their guest house. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced after our first night. Tea/coffee facilities and Wifi in rooms....
