Lovely pub in the centre of the town. We had a really nice meal - one of the best i had in Galway on our way back from Clifden. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend a stop off here for lunch or dinner..

Working in the area for couple of months , came here for dinner before the Ireland vs Wales game. The food was superb . I had the Sizzling Prawns for starter and Lamb Stew for mains and it was just perfect . would definitely recommend to anyone .

We ate here last Sunday. We were disappointed with our food - fish cakes were on special - two of the group ordered these - they were way over cooked and very small for a main course. Nice busy atmosphere but just wouldn't return on a Sunday afternoon.

This is a charming pub restaurant on the Main St.in Oughterard. The counter is designed to resemble a boat. It was very clean with friendly staff and while we only had a bowl of soup and coffee the service was excellent. I will be very happy to return and try something more substantial and would have no hesitation in recommending.

Enjoyed lunch on a Friday with my husband and our two young children. Kids ate fish with chips and popcorn chicken with chips from the kid's menu, I enjoyed squid served with pickled veggies and a salad, my husband had fish with chips. We felt the pricing was reasonable, my son got the largest portion of chicken we've ever received...

We called in here on our way back from Clifden, for lunch. It was a Sunday, and busy, but the friendly staff found us a table. The food was good and the service was very good. We would visit here again.

We stayed in the Restaurant of the Boat Inn before...and were this time again delighted by the excellent and mouth-watering quality of the breakfast, the amazing standard Irish Breakfast as well as the Porridge with fresh fruit. Very good value for money. I can really recommend this Restaurant !
