Out of all of the places I stayed during my 4 days cycling around the Ring of Kerry, Currane Lodge wins as the best of all. Ann McCarthy and her family are the warmest people in the world (at the very least Ireland!) and deliver in providing a beautiful, clean, lakeside home to stay in at affordable prices. The breakfast...

My friend and I stayed here for a night during our roadtrip in Ireland. Very friendly family and a beautiful place. The dinner and breakfast were very good, we arrived late but Ann was kind enough to let is have dinner at the lodge. Would stay again.

Ann was welcoming from the first hello. She was very hospitable and welcoming. Great conversation and beautiful location on the lake. She gave great recommendations for dinner in town. The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Many choices for breakfast--pancakes were great! We would definitely go back.

We stayed in a lovely family room (2 adults, 2 children) with amazing views of the lake. Everything was really clean and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely host, Ann, and her family. The breakfast room/lounge area was available for us to sit in whenever we wanted and there were fires lit which made us feel...

My husband, daughter, & I stayed 5 nights at Currane Lodge June 2015. There are many things that made our stay enjoyable. These 3 things stand out: A very beautiful landscape setting, Ann's warm hospitality & insight into what to see in the area, and great internet service!! Thank you for making our first introduction to Ireland so pleasant!

We enjoyed a lovely one night stay whilst passing through Waterville. Our host Anne was extremely welcoming, offering to meet us in the local village so we didn't get lost in the dark even though it was after 10 at night! Although in the end we did not struggle to find the property. Everything was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable....

The view from the breakfast room across the lough to the mountains is stunning, the rooms we had were large and newly renovated to a high standard. The breakfast was the best we had in our entire 10 days in ireland and the owners very...

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and I had a wonderful stay at the McCarthy's bed and breakfast. We were there for a short while, but the first thing that comes to mind are the PANCAKES!! Absolutely the best I've ever had, and I want to go back tomorrow! The rooms were modest yet quite comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and...
